Software that solves real problems.

Ozedra Technologies is building four products, each for a practical problem in Zambia. All four are in development: register your interest to hear first when one is ready.

Ozedra Stock

In development

A simple stock, till and business-management system for small shops, designed to work on a laptop, tablet or phone.

Who it's for

Owners of small retail shops in Zambia, such as grocery stores, general dealers and mini-marts, including owners with more than one branch, and the cashiers and managers who work for them.

The problem

Most small shops keep stock, sales and cash in exercise books, or in their heads. Owners can't easily tell what's on the shelf, what sold, whether the cash and mobile money add up at closing, or whether they made a profit after rent and wages. Money and stock can go missing without anyone noticing.

What it will do

  • Track every item from delivery to sale: barcode scanning, stock levels for each branch, and alerts before something runs out.
  • A simple till designed for quick, accurate cash-ups: cash, mobile money and card payments, receipts, refunds, and a daily cash-up that shows straight away if the drawer is short.
  • A clear picture for the owner: daily sales, profit after expenses, best and slowest sellers, and staff activity, on a phone from anywhere.

Ozedra Explorer

In development

A planned digital platform to help people discover places, experiences and local businesses across Zambia.

Who it's for

Travellers, local residents, tourism operators and business owners who want to explore destinations or attract more visitors.

The problem

Information about places to visit and businesses to discover is fragmented and hard to find in one place.

What it will do

  • Bring destinations and local businesses together in one place.
  • Help people discover experiences based on their interests.
  • Give businesses greater visibility to potential customers.

Ozedra Economy

In development

A mobile-friendly website for exploring Zambia's economy, built on verified data, with every number linked to its original source.

Who it's for

Students, researchers and journalists first. Later, anyone who wants to understand Zambia's economy in plain language, including business owners and people working in policy.

The problem

Global sites such as the World Bank and Trading Economics treat Zambia as one country among hundreds, and Zambia's own figures are spread across PDF bulletins and agency websites. It's hard to find one place that gathers them, explains them simply and shows where each number came from.

What it will do

  • One dashboard of Zambia's key economic indicators, each with a plain-language explanation and a link to the original source.
  • Short, sourced data stories that explain what the numbers show, without speculating about causes.
  • Over time, more topics, such as people and development, industries and trade, and provincial comparisons, plus a data explorer for searching, comparing and downloading figures.

Ozedra Circular

In development

A planned environmental technology platform, built as a responsive web application, to help businesses and institutions track waste and recover more recyclable material.

Who it's for

Businesses, institutions and recycling operators, and in later stages consumers and recycling partners.

The problem

Waste data is limited, collection processes are fragmented, and it is difficult to verify where recyclable materials go.

What it will do

  • Digital waste tracking and analytics.
  • Coordinating collections between organisations and recycling partners.
  • Recording material-recovery outcomes, to support better operational and environmental decisions.

All four products are in development and are not yet available to buy or use. Each Register interest link opens your email app with the subject filled in.
